Chappati / Indian Bread


Ingredients:

Wheat flour – 1 cup
Water as required to make a dough
Salt
Oil or ghee
Milk – 2 to 3 tbsp.

Method:


In a bowl mix wheat flour, salt, milk, oil and sprinkle water to make a thick dough.
Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep it aside for ½ or 1 hour.
Now make small ball from the dough and roll it for 10 to 12 inches round, by sprinkling flour on dough.
Heat the griddle or tava, place the chappati . Now apply oil on both the side of the chappatis.
Remove the chappatis from heat once both the sides becomes golden brown.
Serve hot with any gravy, curd or chutney.
