Marks Cheap and tastyt Chili
Ingredients
1 cup textured soy protein
1 cup boiling water
1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes
1 can (3 ounces) tomato paste
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 large onion, diced
1 can (14.5 ounces) corn, undrained
1 can (14.5 ounces) Old El Paso fat free spicy refried beans
2 teaspoons cumin
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, undraine
Directions:
Place the textured soy protein and the boiling water in a large
pot. Let sit for 5 minutes. Add remaining
ingredients EXCEPT the kidney beans. Cook 30
minutes. Add the beans and cook an additional 30
minutes.
